NETAJI SUBHAS OPEN UNIVERSITY

Chandernagore Govt. College Study Centre under Netaji Subhas Open University was started in Chandernagore Govt. College campus from January 1999. This is, at present, the largest study centre in West Bengal with a student strength of more than 500 students. There are 7 (seven) Honours subjects in B.A. [viz. Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and Public Administration ], 6 (six) Honours subjects in B.Sc. [ viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and Geography] and B.Com, in totality, as an Honours subject that are being taught in this study centre. Classes are of 2 hours duration and counseling class are regularly held on each Saturday, Sunday and other holidays. Study materials are provided by the University.
