            1)      Payment of hire charge of Private vehicle.

            2)      Payment of Fuel charges of Govt. vehicles and Private vehicles.

            3)      Repairing charges of the Govt. vehicles.

b) Procedures : The owner of the Private vehicles, the owner of the Garages and the petrol pump authorities submit their bills before this section. After receiving the bill the bill is prepared for payment.

c) Form in which to Apply : No specific Govt. form is used.

d) To whom & where Apply : The bills are submit before the office of the Pool Car Section.

e) Documents Required : Bills, Log book and fuel slip are required for payment.

g) Number of Days Required : After receiving the bill the payment is made within 15/20 days if fund is available.

Point wise information under Clause (b) of sub section (1) of Sub section 4 of the Right to Information Act, 2005

     (i)     the particulars of its organization, function and duties :-

         Pool Car Section is one of the vital section of District administration. Arrangement of Govt. vehicles in connection with Law and order duties, Ministerial duties, V.I.P visit, enforcement, raid etc are done by this Section. Also allotment of vehicle to the different Sub-ordinate offices also done by this Section. Besides checking of monthly Salary bill, vehicle repairing charges bill, Fuel charge bill, hire charge bill for the private vehicles are the part and porcells of this section.

         This section purchases of various necessary articles for official purpose and maintenance the stock Register. Also preparation of bills for the payment of Salary to the staff and preparation of contingent bills, Spl. Allowance bills, Fuel bill, Vehicle repairing bills are done. This section also issue fuel slip for each of the vehicle of D.M.Pool.  

(ii)   the powers and duties of its officers and employees  :-

                This section is under the direct control of A.D.M.(G) and overall supervision of the District Magistrate, Hooghly. All the staff are strictly abide by the rules and regulation as set by the Government of West Bengal. They perform their duty as per duty allotted by the O/C Pool time to time.

      (iii)   the procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability :-

              All staff are initially accountable to the Officer-in-Charge of this section. All the files routed through D.A.>O/C Pool> A.D.M.(G)

(iv)   the norms set by it for the discharge of its functions :-

            The section have no any authority to set up norms for discharge its function. All officer and staff strictly follow the Acts & Rules framed by the Government and direction of the superior authority.

(v)        the rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions :-

            W.B.S.R. Part-I & II, W.B. Financial Rules Vol-I & II, W.B. Treasury Rules Vol- I & II and others G.O.s are generally dealt with by this section.
